Night effects Time Lapse mode offers 3 functions for creative night videos. Star Trail uses the Earth's rotation and the movement of stars to create iconic images of the sky. The Light Painting feature allows using, for example, a phone flashlight to create light paintings. Vehicle Light Trails create the neon city romance of night from car and other vehicle lights.

Power Tools Creative people will benefit from 4 special GoPro modes. The interval photo function takes pictures at a specified, programmed interval. The HindSight function rewinds time and saves everything filmed 30 seconds before pressing the record button, as well as everything filmed after that. Scheduled Capture allows delaying the start of filming for a specified time. Duration Capture allows specifying the maximum recording duration from 15 seconds to 3 hours.
