The GeForce RTX 3050 (8GB)is the latest addition to NVIDIA's GeForce RTX 30 series, which went on sale on 27 January 2022. Price-wise, it is the most affordable card with real-time ray tracing and NVIDIA DLSS support, which makes it particularly attractive to the budget-conscious gamer audience. When you install the Asus GeForce RTX 3050 (8GB) with a latest generation Intel Core i3/i5 or AMD Ryzen 3/5 processor, you get a capable gaming PC at a democratic price.
In terms of graphics performance, the GeForce RTX 3050 (8GB) convincingly beats its direct competitor, the Radeon RX 6500 XT. It is also faster than the GTX 1660 SUPER, but slightly beats the previous generation RTX 2060.

Virtual reality
The GeForce emblem indicates that this graphics card is powerful enough to be compatible with the latest VR (Virtual Reality) devices such as Oculus Rift, HTC Vive (SteamVR), etc.
